Warranties, Returns and Refunds

Décor Lighting NZ aims for 100% customer satisfaction through both product quality and customer service. Our customer service team will strive to assist you 5 days a week and return your emails within 24 hours.

Warranty Information

All normal electrical products that Decor Lighting New Zealand sell come with 12 months warranty. LED Light bulbs and Lamp shades come with 6 months warranty. Build-in LED lights come with 2 years warranty. Warranty covers electrical wiring, Lamp holder, LED chips, LED driver, and all other electrical related parts. Any external damage, fade of colour, rusty, molding, that has been caused by usage, are not covered by warranty. No warranty cover for incandescent, filament and Halogen light bulbs.

Decor Lighting is a New Zealand company and we carry all applicable SDoC and compliance certificates required under New Zealand Law. We provide SDoC to customers on request.

To make a warranty claim please proceed by emailing us and providing us with your receipt number or Trademe auction number and the problem with the product. We will then advise you of the next step, depending on the product in question.

We recommend all installation can be done by registered electrician. 

Photo colour may vary or distort on different computer/device and measurement stated on the website are sometimes not absolutely exact (but very close). Using different colour light bulb may change the colour of the light and shade also. So any colour difference will not be consider as defaced product.



Returns & Refunds

Please choose your purchase carefully – No one wants to have to return product, but if the item you have chosen is not up to expectations you are welcome to return it within 7 days of receipt. The product must be returned in the original packaging, with any tags still attached and no damage or marks, accompanied with proof of purchase. Refunds or store credit will be issued for returned goods once inspected. Return freight charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser when returning goods for a credit.

From 7 days to 30 days after the purchase, you can do a full value exchange with original receipt. 25% restocking fee will be applied There will be no refund, you will be provided with a store credit.

Refund policy also applies to the deposit for special order. No refund of the deposit after 7 days of deposit paid. No exchange after 30 days of the products been held.

Online transfer payments will be refunded within 3 working days.

Credit Card and Paypal payment refunds can take up to 10 working days.​​

Clearance, Factory second, and special custom made items are not refundable or exchangeable. 

Any item that has been installed or modified is not refundable or exchangeable.

In the case of damaged or faulty products, we will replace the item. If this is not possible or can not be done in a reasonable time frame, you can apply for a refund. Standard refund policy apply.

Special custom made order

50% of deposit is needed for placing your order. Deposit is not refundable.
